The holiday season is upon on and so are the parties! Whether you are heading to a casual affair, a dressy event, or hosting, turn up your party style. I’ve gathered up my favorite options to build an outfit from scratch or add an accessory to an outfit you already own.
For the Casual Party. Even though the dress code is casual, you can still add a little holiday bling by layering a faux vest over a simple flannel button down. Pair with jeans and booties or vegan leather pants for a casual chic look.
For the Dressed-up Party. It’s always fun to turn up your style during the holidays. I love wearing a statement top like this Parker top. The gorgeous blue color is unexpected, yet rich and festive. Since this top is doing the heavy lifting, I would keep the rest of your outfit simple and understated with a simple pair of black pants or go all out with vegan leather pants. For shoes, I like this pair of black patent kitten heel.
For the Really Dressed-Up slash Cocktail Party. If the invite calls for cocktail attire, dresses are my go to. Velvet is my dress of choice these days and the good news is there are so many styles to choose from! In addition to the 3 above, Eliza J just launched this dress and this one which are absolutely gorgeous. The dress speaks for itself so keep your accessories simple and you will be the best-dressed at the party!
Accessorize what you’ve already got. Sometimes all you need is to add a little bling to a dress or top already hanging in your closet (think LBD). This necklace is even more gorgeous in person and can really dress up a simple black dress. Or go with a statement earring like this or this. I also love a good statement shoe (my closet is full of them!). You can’t get anymore festive than this shoe or add a bit of class with this leopard print heel.
Nonetheless, no matter what you wear, have a wonderfully festive season with friends and family!
